I have extensive experience of the survey and inspection of race yachts of various types. I can provide the following services:

Many race yachts for sale are lying overseas. I believe I provide a good service for overseas inspections:

A day rate charge to cover travel and inspection of £550 per day makes it clear to the client an overall price for the survey. The amount of time travelling will always be kept to the minimum where possible.
A full breakdown of travel costs (charged at cost). Travel costs will always be by the most cost effective method. Any accommodation costs will also be kept to a minimum (usually using Air B & B). No additional charges for food etc this is included in the day rate.
A final costing presented and agreed with the client prior to departure.
Please be aware that there may be an additional charge for hold luggage. (Surveying tools cannot be carried in hand luggage).
